Paris versus New York is a heartfelt gift to denizens of both cities and to those who dream of big-city romance.

Title: For art lovers and travel buffs…..
Review: Anyone who has ever visited or lived in one of these two magical cities will be riveted by the beautiful graphic designs in this book as well as amused by the side by side comparisons, often wonderfully ironic. Vahram Muratyan has distilled the essence of both cities with love and a critical eye for each of them. The book is a terrific conversation piece and a great gift for anyone who loves to travel, either physically or just in the mind.

Title: Paris vs New York: A Tally of Two Cities
Review: Paris vs New York is so cool, I’m jealous I didn’t come up with it. My book 101 Reasons To Leave New York is a satirical look at NYC, so I’m consuming its culture daily. But I love Paris too. And the artistic take is so smart, cool and fun. Love it.

Title: Great book!
Review: I love the artwork in this book and was excited to finally get a physical copy of the beautiful images. I do love this cute little book. However, I was surprised by the size of it (it is about the size of a small hardcover novel). There is however a larger version in print now.

Title: clever side-by-side comparison/contrast of two mythic metropolises
Review: Such a delightful, winking contrast and celebration of two great world cities! Had just returned (to Boston) from a milestone birthday week-long trip to Paris with fresh appreciation for some of our cultural differences when I stumbled upon the memes online and decided to patronize Vahram for his pains and treat myself to the whole book. The designer captures the essence of both cultures and compares them side-by-side from a fondly teasing, deeply knowing point of view in a stunningly effective visual and verbal shorthand. It’s a true mental cookie for the coffee table! Bon appetit!

Title: Fun Book
Review: There are practically no words in this book. It graphically compares NY and Paris via clever graphics. So don’t be surprised if you get it. It is very entertaining and well done. The more familiar you are with NY and Paris the more one will appreciate it. We enjoyed it very much.

Title: Dirty packing
Review: This is really what I want. But the book arrived today with sticky black and some oil on the front cover. Afraid of taking the inconvenient return process from S. Korea.

Review: This is a perfect gift for my friend and her family who lived in New York and then moved to Paris. Fortunately they are back home again and I’m looking forward to giving them this as a gift.
