Separate branches of bok choy, wash them and dry them. Cut the ribs into strips
and chop the leaves. Peel and finely chop the onions. Peel the garlic cloves
and cut them into slices.

Cook the strips 10 minutes to steam.

Heat a little oil in a wok, add the sliced garlic and lightly brown. Remove from the wok and set
aside.

Put the onion and ginger in the wok. Cook 1 minutes before adding the bok choy
(leaves and blades) and tomato puree. Let simmer for 5 minutes before turning
the garlic and add the soy sauce and sesame oil. Pepper.

here:) If you”re old enough, this is probably the way your mother *used* to
cook. Happy Lowcarbing and Bon Appetit! Wash wings and pat dry. Cut pieces at
joints discarding wing tips. Combine remaining ingredients in small bowl. Place
wings in shallow baking dish, careful not to crowd. Pour sauce on wings.
Marinade overnight in refrig. Leave marinade in pan and bake wings at 325
degrees F. (163 degrees C.) for 1 1/2 hours. Per serving: 244 Calories; 19g Fat (70% calories from fat); 15g Protein; 3g Carbohydrate; 47mg Cholesterol; 2208mg Sodium NOTES

Tangy Potted Cheese Recipe
Ingredients
4 oz Cheddar cheese

ts Coarsely ground mustard
1/4 c Butter, softened

ts Worcestershire sauce

tb Port or sherry
1/4 c Walnuts, coarsely chopped

Green onions, finely chopped
Crackers
or melba toast

ts Caraway seeds

parsley sprigs (opt)

Finely
grate cheese into a bowl. Add butter and mix well. Stir in port, green onions,
caraway seeds, mustard and Worcestershire sauce. Mix thoroughly until well
combined. Spoon mixture into a serving dish. Cover with walnuts and press
walnuts down lightly into mixture. Chill at least 2 hours. Serve with crisp
crackers or Melba toast and garnish with parsley sprigs, if desired. VARIATION:
Add 1 teaspoon chopped fresh herbs and a few pinches cayenne pepper to taste.
NOTE: This spread will keep in a refrigerator for up to 5 days.
