Title: Excellent, Detailed Map
Review: Heading to France this year and will be doing some touring by train. I needed a detailed map of the country but the ones in the guidebooks are never sufficient – the National Geographic maps are truly the best for exploring. They’re tear resistant, waterproof, and give the user a perfect combination of detail and points of interest. When you’re done, you can always frame it!

Title: Fantastic Map
Review: We’re heading to France in August and plan to drive all over especially to hit some of the WWI and WWII historical sites, but it’s difficult to plan all of that without really knowing where things are and Google Maps only knows so much, so this was a life saver for me to plan how far we could go and where each site was and where we should stop. If you’re driving, hiking, or biking through the countryside of another country or even this one, I’d highly recommend these maps. Plus they don’t tear or shred. The only thing that could make them better is if you could use dry erase on them. 🙂

Title: Split view but good map
Review: I love all the details that are included with map symbols for all points of interest that a person might want! I tend to plan my trips by hanging my maps on the wall and plotting out the overall flow of the trip which was made a little more difficult with half the country on the other side. This however is a feature I will likely appreciate in a car!

Review: Very detailed map showing, what appears to be, all secondary roads as well as high traffic corridors. Most of the lettering is very small and may require the use of a magnifying glass if your vision is not exellent. Purchased to assist in planning a cycle trip, and have found it to be very helpful. Not particularly water resistant. The map is split between the two sides of the paper.
