Title: The only book about visiting Paris you will ever need.
Review: Magical Paris is just that. Traveling in Paris is like magic when the bulk of your itinerary is planned for you. That’s what this book does. I plan to follow the suggested guides for visiting all 20 arrondissements, or districts, which will ensure I get through to them all in the most efficient manner possible, especially since that is my goal. The author also includes what’s worth seeing, as well as her favorites. Magical Paris covers it all … lots of practical information, language and pronunciation, vocabulary. And also how to navigate non-touristy areas the way the natives enjoy them. This book is so easy to take with you everywhere as it does not add bulk or weight to your daily load. You will not be disappointed, I assure you. I can’t wait to use it for my upcoming trip. cwaters

Title: Wonderful Book!
Review: I bought this book in preparation for a trip to Paris, and I’m so glad I did! It is extremely helpful not only for where to go and what to see, but also for all the practical information on things like transportation, museum passes, pharmacies, currencies, and more.I love the way Paris is broken down into geographical sections and then further broken down by arrondissments. It makes it so much easier to plan your trip itinerary. This book is a must for anyone planning a trip to Paris!

Title: Interesting and helpful guide for Paris
Review: This is great information for travel in Paris. The general information is detailed and practical, and the descriptions of what to do and where to go are both interesting and well-organized. It was very helpful for us as inexperienced travelers in France, and I think this approach to describing places to go and see would be useful also for someone more experienced.

Title: Copyright is 2015
Review: This book was not as up to date as I would have thought with 2019 on the cover. Oliver did not mention The Fondation Louis Vuitton Musee in the section on the Bois de Boulogne. (It opened in October 2014.) He did mention the Ferris wheel at the Place de la Concorde, but did not mention it was taken down in May 2018. He also spends a bit of time telling you how different his book is from the usual travel books. Don’t expect great new revelations.
