Spring roll
Ingredients for spring roll/ 2 persons

lettuce
1
package or bundle of soy
1
pork pie
1
packet of peanuts without salt

small prawns

bunch of fresh mint

package large sheets of rice

small package of Chinese noodles

PREPARATION
Spring Roll

Cook about 10 minutes Chinese noodles in a pan of water. Wash and remove each
leaf lettuce (cut into 2 ones that are too big. Wash and halve shrimp (in
length). Slice fresh mint. Slice the pork pie. Wash soybeans. Mash peanut in
small pieces.
2 In a bowl add and mix:
Chinese noodles, soy, crushed peanuts, pork pie sliced, chopped fresh mint.

Dampen with warm water the rice paper. Spread on a clean sheet of rice cloth.
Tap the sheet with a towel to remove excess moisture (beware rice leaves are
fragile!)
Finally for spring roll recipe
Add
a little stuffing in the center of the rice paper. Fold both sides of the rice
paper over the filling. Then make a roll (take care to maintain and tighten the
roller by rolling).

Brie Crisps Recipe
Ingredients
for Brie Crisps Recipe
4 oz Brie; at room temperature
1/2 c Butter; at room
temperature
2/3 c Flour
2 ds Cayenne pepper; to taste
1/8 ts Salt

Preparation
Combine butter
and cheese in the food processor and mix until creamy. Add remaining
ingredients and blend until dough almost forms a ball in the food processor.
Shape into a roll 2 inches round and wrap tightly in plastic wrap. Refrigerate
overnight. Slice rolls into 1/4 inch pieces – place 2 inches apart on cookie
sheet and bake at 400 degrees for 10-12 minutes or until edges are brown. Cool
on rack. Sprinkle with paprika and serve immediately. Serving Ideas : Great
with a glass of sherry!!!
Bowknots Recipe
Ingredients
for Bowknots Recipe
1 Loaf
sandwich bread; thin-sliced
1 cn Cream of mushroom soup
12 Strips bacon; halved

Preparation
Trim all crust
off bread. Spread soup on one side of bread slices, being careful to cover
edges. Roll each slice from one corner to opposite corner. Wrap half bacon
strip around middle. Secure with toothpick. Place on cookie sheet and bake at
250 degrees for 1 hour. Bowknots will be dry and crisp and very delicious.
Prepared bowknots can be frozen before baking. Place on flat pan and when
frozen solid transfer to freezer bags. Bake without thawing. Per serving: 24
Calories; 2g Fat (75%
calories from fat); 1g Protein; 0g Carbohydrate; 3mg Cholesterol; 94mg Sodium.
