Review: What a fun romp through Paris with constant action and insight. Loved the plot and the ending. One of the books that ended where it should.

Title: WOW!
Review: It was a little bit of a slow start, but it was a perfect setup and great contrast in the story of either living a life in shades of grey or living life in the full spectrum of light (i.e., a rainbow of vibrant colors).

Review: I was greatly looking forward to reading this novel–a romantic mystery that took place in Paris and the art world–but it didn’t quite work for me. I enjoyed the author’s breezy writing style but didn’t care for most of the characters, whom I found rather pretentious, esp. aging rock star Peter Beckman. I liked that the heroine Joan grew a spine at the end, but I don’t think a silly, selfish game of “Clue” in Paris was the best way to achieve this. If you’re looking for an escape to Paris and a quick beach read, maybe you should give this book a try.

Title: Loved. Every. Word.
Review: Last night when I finished the book, I closed it and sat and savored the great story, characters, setting, mystery and overall plot. Then, I ordered some to give as gifts. This book has it all family, art, California, lots of Paris, intrigue, just the right amount of romance, great insight on the incredible Joan of Arc, light installation as art and a hunt for personal and professional resolution. There is humor, grief, love and light. It is the best book I have read this year.

Title: refreshingly different plot and characters.
Review: I enjoyed “Lost and Found in Paris” very much. The story line was rather unusual and interesting. Loan Dolan has a nice way of describing the settings, characters and those supporting the maze through which the reader travels. Although totally differ from her novel, “Helen of Pasadena”, her style of writing gave me similar enjoyment.I’d recommend this to people who prefer their mysteries without gore and violence. It was a good read that made me want to find out what’s next and how it would resolve without keeping me over charged and sleepless.

Title: Lovely!
Review: This book has been in my queue for quite some time. Once I got started it was hard to put down. A little mystery, larceny, love and strong women. The best of everything.

Title: You’d Never Guess
Review: You would never guess the twists and turns of this story. It was fun, surprising, and satisfying. I think I would have named the book as the author said, Joan of Art. It was a fascinating ride.
